AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM DANCE CENTRAL DIRECTORS – COVID19

DANCING THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES

In these uncertain times, we wanted to take a moment to personally thank you all for your relentless passion towards dance and your ongoing support of the studio.

Thank you!

Dancing comes with numerous health benefits from increased fitness, to weight management, stress relief and better coordination. We love being able to provide you with a venue and safe space to achieve all of the above.

At this current time, Dance Central Sydney’s doors are still open with classes and workshops running to schedule.

We will keep you updated of any changes, should they occur, on social media and through direct email.

We would also like to assure you that we are taking diligent action from Covid-19, in the hopes of protecting yourselves, our teachers and our office staff.

As of Tuesday 17 March, we will implement the following procedures and precautions:

The launch of our online booking system has been moved up to 17 March 2020 (originally planned for late March), in order to provide you with a contact-less payment option.

Hand sanitisers have been purchased and provided by the front desk and sink areas, along with extra hand wash and paper towels. We urge you to observe your own personal hygiene and use the products made available to you.

In order to avoid touching your face, we ask that you please bring a face towel to class and wipe when needed.

Should you need to cough, please do so away from any other dancers and into your elbow. Any tissues used should also be disposed of immediately.

All yoga mats will be removed from the studio and we ask that you please bring your own mat should you require one for any pre-class stretching.

We will increase our cleaning efforts across both studios and all flat surfaces.

To make sure we are able to practice recommended social distancing, we have capped all class number to Maximum 15 people per room.

And finally, we ask that anyone with any cold-like symptoms (coughing, fever, running nose, sore throat or body aches) to please stay at home, seek medical attention and fully recover before returning to the studio.

Thank you again for all the love you bring to class, for your understanding of these necessary changes and please remember to always be kind to one another.

We look forward to seeing you at the studio.

Love always,
Lisa and Shar
