Many Popping classes are centred around simply the ‘boogaloo’ style of popping based around routines. Due to this, many aspiring dancers miss out on learning various other impressive popping styles such as waving, robotics, animation and tutting.
Being a freestyle dance, learning foundations and drills is far more important than just doing routines. Routines, although important in choreography, restrict a dancers ability to create and advance to the next level.
King K is one of the very few poppers in Australia that teaches not only these other powerful styles in depth but also in the format of strict drills and foundations which greatly accelerates an individuals skill in popping.
Being an open skill level class, means the class will be flexible depending on the skill level of the people participating. As such it will be suitable for beginners straight through to experts wanting to further enhance their skill level and branch out.
The class will focus on animation, robotics, waving and tutting styles of popping. Styles that are taught very scarcely at other dance schools.
