Capoeira, a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, sports, music and dance. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences.

Performance may simply be a demonstration of powerful capoeira moves contemporary music, or perhaps a traditional Roda (circle), with all the cultural aspects of the game-the berimbau, drums and songs- while the players pit their slick styles against each other to the rhythm.
