Pania Taku

Pania has been training in dance for eight years, and initially her focus was only on hip-hop which was later broadened to encompass contemporary and jazz. She has trained at Brent Street Studios with the best choreographers and teachers in the Australasian industry. She also trained in Los Angeles at Debbie Reynolds an Millenium studios with the leading choreographers of today. She is a choreographer, dancer and leader of Australasia’s top female group Deja. In 2009, Pania auditioned for “So you think you can dance season 2″ and successfully finished in the top 14, solidifying her position as one of the best dancers and performers in Australia. since sytycd she has been to the U.S.A on a scholarship with monsters of hip hop, toured with jabbawokeez and hosted MTV’s 1st ever live show. Pania has performed with international celebrities such as Joe, Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men), Lilly Allen, Vince Harder and Macy Gray as well as National Celebrities Guy Sebastian, Israel, Teagan Rogers, Boogie Warehouse, Emily Williams and Grammy award Nominee Sam Sparro. Dance is her passion and Pania wants to keep growing and developing in her craft, while inspiring others.
