ORI TAHITI (TAHITIAN DANCE)

ORI TAHITI (TAHITIAN DANCE)

Be taken on a rhythmic journey to French Polynesia with the beautiful ancestral dance of Ori Tahiti. You will learn the fundamental steps in both fast (O’tea) and slow (Aparima) styles, and be able to apply the steps you learn to choreography in each class. The body movements in Ori Tahiti are a means of personal expression, through hip and hand movement. Every class is catered to both beginner and intermediate level.

What to wear

Please wear a sarong (Pareo), and bring a towel and bottle of water as you’ll be sure to sweat. No shoes required.
